Since two years after a stabbing at the 4th floor of the Ganton High there are almost daily frisking-controlls by guards at the entrance of the school. At monday the 6th may they caught Jesse slipping with 2 grams of weed. He got banned from going to school for 2 weeks and his marijuana was confiscated by one of the guards.

The members of the Ganton Highscool Basketball team finally got choosen by the trainer. *Jesse wouldn't be on the photo, because he got banned from school and failed joining the team because of that also*

This weekend were the High School Amatuer Boxing Finals. Demar Green (16) won the prestigious title in the finals against the San Pedro High. Green beat his opponent Alvaro Ortega K.O in the 3rd round. Coach Brown said: "He had a good tournament and has earned this title. If he continues work on his skills, he could do it in a few years to the top."
